Baked Mozzarella Asparagus

This is the easiest recipes for asparagus I've ever seen. My mom taught me how to make this super simple side dish!
All you'll need is:
-tin foil
-asparagus
-shredded mozzarella cheese
-olive oil (optional)

Directions:
1. After washing asparagus, cut the ends off the bottom - no one likes that tough part.
2. Line asparagus stalks along a tin foil covered cookie sheet.
3. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese (to your liking - I like to cover most of the middle section - add a little pepper if you want a little more flavor too!)
4. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
5. For added tenderness, remove halfway through baking and brush both ends of stalks with olive oil.

6. Serve and enjoy!!

Skinny Sunrise Smoothie

This is a great smoothie to make for breakfast if you wake up feeling bloated! Pineapple juice is a natural diuretic and so it helps your body flush out any excess toxins formed in the kidneys & liver. It also contains an enzyme, bromelain, which has been said to aid digestion of proteins. Bananas are also great sources of potassium, which is great at absorbing the retained water in your body into the cells.

That being said, here's my super easy "skinny smoothie" recipe:
1 banana
6 oz pineapple juice
Ice

That's it. Blend together, adding more ice to increase thickness in consistency and you have an easy and deliciously light smoothie!

10 Minute Lamp Makeover

I bought a cheap lamp from Ross and wanted to make it look a little fancier. So I took a glue gun and added some craft pearls. This took no less than 10 minutes to do.
It's amazing how much difference a little creativity makes!

Twine Hanging "Shelf"

I lose my remotes daily. They get lost under my bed, on my bed, on my desk, essentially anywhere a remote can get lost, I've lost it there. I live in a small apartment so I don't have a whole lot of space for furniture, so I thought about making a small hanging "shelf" since it's a lot cheaper than buying a wooden shelf.

All I used was a little tin, twine and a hot glue gun!

I glued the twine down and each time I wrapped it around I would add a line of glue for reinforcement.

In total it took about 30 minutes of patience (I mean, it's a lot of doing the exact same thing haha).

Then.... Wahlah! Finished product.

I tied ribbon on the handles to hang it and added a little line of pearl beads to add a little extra character. Now my remotes have a happy home, and I'm hoping I won't lose them (as much) anymore!
